He reflects on his 40 plus years of experience counseling alcoholics and addicts, and their families, on the profession of addiction counseling. and on societal attitudes about alcoholism and addiction in general. Each booklet is divided into short chapters with titles such as "Alcoholic Lie A Lot" and "Psychic Pain" and "Sober And In Trouble" and "Choices" and many others all in a jargon-free, plain-speaking, down-to-earth style that reflect Bob's statement "I write like I talk". Each booklet is also available separately on Amazon and in a shorter compilation of the first three booklets in volume 1 and the last two in volume 2.
